Infectious diseases
Employees should be informed about any inherent risks of working in the human service area. Employees should be expected to take whatever precautions are necessary to protect themselves and others with whom they work from transmitting or contracting infectious diseases.
Should an Employee believe they have contracted an infectious disease through their work, or an incident occurs which may lead to infection, they must contact and follow the procedures outlined under WorkCover Queensland Insurance.
