Accountability and responsibility for funding


When you direct your own funding you must be prepared to work with the Host Provider or Disability Services to take on the responsibilities and obligations that come with being accountable for public money. This involves entering into an Individual Funding Agreement with Disability Services or an agreement with a Host Provider. This enables you to identify the what, who and how of meeting your disability support needs. It is important to think about the level of control you would be comfortable with as part of your thinking about which system will work best for you.
